During the Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe used aggressive and unpopular language that caused a lot of backlash online.
On Sunday, October 27, at MSG (Madison Square Garden), Tony Hinchcliffe served as the opening act for Donald Trump’s rally. He referred to Puerto Rico as “a floating island of garbage” during the rally, according to an article in The Hollywood Reporter. The comedian Hinchcliffe, who was born in Ohio, is most recognized for his roasts. His previous work also included co-writing the Comedy Central Roast program. In addition, he participated in the All Def Digital Roast of Snoop Dogg in 2016. According to Wikipedia, he also published his one-hour Netflix special, One Shot, in the same year.
His podcast named “Kill Tony” allegedly made fun of Puerto Rico and Latinos while speaking to the packed house. He started by introducing the Republican Party as the “party with a wonderful sense of humor.” “I welcome migrants to the United States with open arms and by open arms, I mean like this,” he responded, making a “no” gesture with his hands.
This is not the first time Tony Hinchcliffe has made a controversial statement and drawn criticism. According to the website, he began his May 2021 performance with a derogatory remark that featured an anti-Asian racial slur and was allegedly aimed at Peng Dang, who had introduced him after his performance.
Before making the heated statement at the rally on Sunday, he stated, “It’s crazy and these Latinos love making babies too, just know that — they don’t do that.” They come inside, the same way they did to our nation. One party that has a good sense of humor is the Republican Party.

The flame backlash intensified when Tony Hinchcliffe made a joke about Puerto Rico. Numerous things are happening. In the middle of the ocean right now, there is a floating island of trash. I believe it’s called Puerto Rico.
The comedian called the Democratic Party “a Diddy party” at several points in his speech. While speaking to the gathering, he also mentioned NFL player Travis Kelce by name and mentioned the numerous celebrity endorsements that support Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for president.
Furthermore, he said, “I don’t know about you guys, but I think Travis Kelce might be the next OJ Simpson.” Every day the Democratic Party seems more and more like the Diddy Party! Hinchcliffe’s remark caused uneasy laughter at the rally venue. “Well, I see what you guys are after.” He also made a joke about Black people slicing watermelons for Halloween.
On the same day that Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris courted the Puerto Rican community in Philadelphia, Tony Hinchcliffe’s insulting remarks gained attention. She had previously attacked the Republican candidate in a video message to Puerto Rican voters, which was later commended by Latin music icon Bad Bunny. She attacked her Republican opponent in the widely shared video, saying, “I will never forget what Donald Trump did and what he did not do when Puerto Rico needed a caring and competent leader.”
After Sunday’s festivities, fellow Latin performers Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez also endorsed Harris’ presidential campaign.
What else took place at the MSG rally
Other Trump supporters began attacking Harris verbally as well. David Rem, a Republican lawmaker, famously referred to the current vice president as “the antichrist.” After attacking Hillary Clinton, radio host Sid Rosenberg made harsh comments about undocumented immigrants, He went on to say, “You have homeless people and veterans—Americans, Americans—sleeping on a bench in Central Park on their excrement.” However, don’t the f**king illegals get what they want?
As everything was going on, Trump reiterated his “enemy within” stance and continued his standard criticism of the Democrats. “The Democratic Party is ruled by a vast, dishonest, and evil communist bureaucracy, which we need to deal with. We have to overcome them because they are cunning and cruel and are the enemy within.
